I made this ceramic wall vase from a slab of rolled-out speckled tan stoneware clay, then hand formed it it into a cone shape. I hand painted the outside with "Day of the Dead" sugar skulls and mandala-like flowers using underglazes with a matte finish. The inside is fully glazed with a glossy medium blue glaze.

This flower pocket will hold water for fresh flower arrangements or to be used as a planter with soil. It can also be used for dried or silk flower arrangements, air plants, orchids, cactus; the only limit is your imagination!

It can be used inside or outside, but do not leave it outside in freezing temperatures because frozen water inside it could cause it to break.

High-fired in the kiln, this piece is dishwasher safe and has non-toxic lead free glazes.

About 11" long, 5" wide, and about 3" deep (front to back).
