Mr Mortadella has appeared in Frankie magazine! He is so pleased with himself!

One of a kind. Acrylic on thick plywood found in my neighbourhood, with glued-on shapes cut from a thinner plywood. Hand painted.

PLEASE NOTE -- the background colour is a creamy off white.

Anthropomorphism is one of my favourite and ongoing interests. This face on a plate is the first of a very occasional series. Parsley eye brows, boiled egg eyes, a German sausage pallor, a gherkin nose and a slice of tomato mouth on the sort of plate you might find on a ship. I love making art that has to do with food!

The artwork measures:

7 x 9.5 inches
17.5 x 24 cm

It has a hanging device on the back. See photo.
