Description

Vintage poster from the early 1990s combines the striking art of Comanche artist Tim Saupitty with a Boeing-Sikorsky RAH-66 Comanche helicopter. This original lithograph shows a Native American Indian riding a horse, with the tagline "The Fighting Spirit of the Comanche Warrior." This rare poster was made to promote a reconnaissance and attack helicopter that never went into mass production. The RAH-66 program was canceled in 2004, after $7 billion was spent.

Tim Saupitty is a well-known Oklahoma Comanche artist whose art depicts the warrior and mystical elements of the Southern Plains Indian culture.

This is an original vintage lithograph, not a copy. It's in excellent condition--never used or displayed. Note that the border is dark blue with a yellow stripe (my pictures make it look darker).

Size: 22 x 19 inches inches (55.9 x 45.7 cm)

The poster will be shipped rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube. If you purchase more than one rolled poster from my shop, the second one ships free.
