No-Tin, A Chippewa Chief

Original Print/bookplate removed from book.

While I love my ornithologicals and botanicals, I have long loved this fabulous work by Thomas L. McKenney and James Hall, "The Indian Tribes of North America"! I am very excited to offer these BEAUTIFUL and BRILLIANT, ye,t very affordable vintage prints. I love them and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

The 1978 edition of this book shows more detail and more vivid colors compared to the 1972 edition.

"History Of The Indian Tribes of North America" originally published in 1836, represented a new level of attainment in American engraving and first-hand ethnography. The demand for the accurately depicted colour plates and ethnographic accounts was instrumental in this edition quickly going out of print.

"History of the The Indian Tribes of North America" is without a doubt a classic and the first genuine anthropology.
