Description

I made this with a gorgeous slice of purple agate, added a bail to the top using a strong taxidermy repair epoxy, and then electroformed it! During electroforming, I coat my pieces with my own formula of conductive paint, then combine them with acid and electricity to coat the whole thing in a sturdy layer of beautiful copper. It's practically magic!

Measurements: ~3" tall, ~30" chain.

This listing is for ONE crystal necklace with a copper chain. You WILL receive one the exact item pictured, because it is the only one.

Your shipping cost includes insurance. I will not ship this item without insurance, no exceptions.

Here are some of the boilerplate things I have to include in every listing:

Store and wear your handmade jewelry with care. Do not wear it while bathing, and please remove handmade rings while washing your hands or doing dishes. Jewelry should be stored in a cool, dark place while not in use - like a jewelry box - to prevent further oxidizing. Electroformed jewelry will develop a patina over time and can be polished to its original shine using a paste of salt and lemon juice.

Each piece of my work is handcrafted in my tiny sunlit studio in Chicago. Your purchase will ship packed in a combination of recycled and new materials in order to ensure it arrives safely. Please recycle when possible.
