Description

This one of a kind necklace is reminiscent of Native American medicine bags, but this version is unique to the Daring Miss Lassiter style. I've used a vintage brooch as the centerpiece and have hand-beaded an upcycled denim mini-pocket with turquoise colored tube beads and various other complimentary colors. The mini-pocket is from a pair of Lucky Brand jeans and features two copper "Lucky Brand" rivets at the top corners. The pocket measures approximately 3 1/2 inches square and hangs from a 32 inch chain (the drop is approximately 16 inches). The copper-toned chain is accented with turquoise and fuschia colored beads. The pocket is further accented with handmade tassels.

Very eye-catching statement piece. I never make the same necklace twice, so this is truly a one of a kind necklace. The back of the pocket is leather, signed and dated.
