This sunny cot quilt is made of nine-patch blocks and so-called snowball blocks. Using orange fabric turns the snowballs into little suns – a perfect quilt for a summer baby, or a ray of sunshine in a winter baby’s nursery!

Fabric requirements:
• 1 ½ yard orange fabric
• 1 yard white fabric
• ½ yard binding fabric
• 1 ½ yard backing fabric
• 40in x 55in batting

Other requirements:
• Rotary cutter, ruler and mat
• Threads for piecing and quilting
• Iron and ironing board
• Sewing machine with ¼” foot and walking foot
• Masking tape or quilting clips for sandwiching the quilt
• Safety pins or basting spray

The bag came together quickly and the instructions were clear. I wish that the pieces were drafted and printable from within the pattern instead of having to measure and cut them myself, but that only required a bit more work. I am pleased with this pattern.
