Description

CUSTOM DOG PORTRAIT SAMPLE (This artwork is 12 X 10 inches)
Commission an original Custom pet or animal portrait in ANY size of your choosing.

One-off original custom pet portraits on stretched canvas boards from your photos using acrylic paint. I use stretched canvas boards that are 1 and 1/2 cm thick so framing is not necessary.
All artworks are varnished upon completion which means the artwork is protected from dirt and dust. The varnish will finish the portrait with a glossy or matt finish- your choice.

My style is modern and clean with a focus on the head and shoulders of the pet. However I'm happy to paint full body portraits also. I choose a neutral background after consultation with the client.
You can see more of my pet portraits at;

Since I work off your photo, the choice of image is very important. I can guide the client so they send me the best possible image for this kind of finished work.
Some tips for getting a great images for a portrait are;
-Choose a well lit area- natural light is ideal.
-Try and take the image at your pets eye level.
-Get as much detail as you can. The more I can see- the more detail will go into the portrait.

The resolution of the image is extremely important also. If the image isn't a high enough resolution for me to achieve my usual standard of detail, I will tell you up front and save us both time. I understand with pets that have passed on, you will have to work with the image you already have. I can help sort through these images so we select the best possible option.

THE ORDER PROCESS:
Couldn't be simpler!

First, send me as many messages and photos as you like. I want to hear about your pet, their personality and your hopes for the finished work.
We can discuss the right size canvas and photo to achieve this result. I usually paint in the 3 sizes mentioned but am happy to create an artwork in ANY size you like.
We will also nail down postage costs at this stage. Once I know where the artwork will be sent upon completion, I can quote you the exact shipping cost (I always select postage options where parcels are signed for upon receipt).

If you have a deadline for the artwork (perhaps it's a gift?) we can sort this out before I commence painting.

Once the size and shipping costs are confirmed and you have paid in full, I will commence painting.

Once the painting is finished, I will email you a high resolution image for your final approval.
I'm happy to make any adjustments to the artwork if you're not completely happy with the end result.
Then I will then varnish the work and it will be sent from my studio no later than 48 hours after completion.

Please note, I am selling the original artwork. I retain the copyright for the image.

I hope to hear from you soon.
