The base was fashioned from reclaimed wood from a construction site. Don't worry, it is sanded smooth so your yarn doesn't snag on rough surfaces.

The base is 4 3/8" square and 3/4" thick. The center dowel rod is 8 1/4" tall. I placed cork feet on the bottom to protect your tabletop. The size and weight of the base promote stability. Some assembly required. The dowel fits tightly so you can assemble or remove it for easy transportation.

Use these handy dandy holders to display different yarn colors or to keep your yarn neat and tidy while you're using multiple colors.
