The Harvard Classics, also known as, Dr. Eliot's Five-Foot Shelf of Books, are made up of 50 individual classic books.
This particular set was published in 1909 by P F Collier & Son and are bound in maroon cloth boards with gilt lettering on the spine, raised sheild emblem and borders, with illustrations and inserts.

Text within generally in very good condition.
