A 1950's vintage cardboard hat box with lush green and gold graphics, by De Pinna of New York.

A real find as couture collectible and/or aged paper ephemera.

Requires care or repair where the bottom panel is separating from the sides, but it is stable when the top is cover is put on the bottom and could be used this way as display or photo prop.

There are some scratches to the surfaces and two dents on the lid, I tried to capture all of the damages in the photos. Getting fragile but still very attractive, useable and repairable.

7" tall X 12" wide

According to Wikipedia, "De Pinna was a men's and women's high end clothier founded in 1885, in New York City, by Alfred De Pinna, a Sephardic Jew born in England. They also sold menswear-inspired clothing for women that was finely tailored. The flagship store was located at 642-50 Fifth Avenue and 52nd Street.

For many years I used this to store scarves and gloves in the top shelf of my closet, it is your turn to see it's beauty and give it a new life!

I do ship to other countries and I am happy to combine shipping on multiple orders!
