Bird Plates from a 1936 Bird Book. The original paintings were done by Louis Agassiz Fuertes.

In many peoples' eyes, Audubon is the classic bird artist from this era, but as a critic, I prefer Fuertes.

Approximate Size: 7.5 x 11

Plate 53 Features:
Barn Owl
Long-Eared Owl

Plate 54 Features:
Great Gray Owl
Barred Owl

I have several books these plates have come from. Some coloration may vary slightly.

Plates are printed back-to-back. Each pair of plates listed is one single piece of paper.

For sale is the actual page, NOT a reproduction.
