Blue cobalt glass open salt marked Japan on the bottom. Salt sits in a small footed ornately embossed metal frame. Lovely Patina on the metal. It has a tiny flea bite nick which looks like a burst bubble on outside edge of glass rim, no other damage or repairs. Light scuffing consistent with age and use. Cobalt salt measures about 3"s across. A very pretty addition to an open salt collection or for creative other ideas. I use an open salt on my window ledge above my kitchen sink to put my rings in when I'm doing dishes.
