Very rare find! 1930s netted lace long sheer dress in powder blue with big puffed sleeves, ruffled sweetheart neckline, peach velvet bows at the neck and sleeves, and matching trim over the shoulders. This lovely well-made dress has an inverted v empire waist line, back sash tie, and netted long skirt. The dress closes with five buttons in the side seam. The soft blue bias cut slip appears to be hand sewn (maybe later?) to match the dress and has a white spot on the lower back and some discoloration in the armpit area. It doesn't have a button or zipper. The netted lace dress could easily be worn with a different slip of your choice.
The dress itself looks professionally made and it beautiful, sturdy, and wearable. There is minor discoloration in the seam of the armpits that is not noticeable at all when worn.
Fabulous 1930s dress with great period details, sweet and beautiful for a special occasion!
