Unique natural stone jewelry necklace for men or women by WaveSong on Etsy. I made this one-of-a-kind wearable art jewelry protective stone necklace, designed from fossils with naturally occurring holes. 'Lucky stones' are 400 million+ year old. The larger the hole, the more rare they are. Have this totally unique piece of jewelry adorn your neckline.

Length 16" on chocolate brown cord with bronze lobster clasp closure, largest stone is 2.5cm with orange glass bead.

These stones are NOT drilled. Each one is a unique beach find from the Western shore of one of the largest fresh water lakes in the world, Lake Winnipeg, the great Canadian Prairie Ocean. Some of them are crinoids, disc-shaped segments of long stems of fossilized "Lilies of the Sea". Some are known as gastropods. When you find them, the small disc can be surrounded by a larger mass of fossilized rock.

These stones are reported to have extremely powerful magical properties, the most important of which is protection. Stones that have natural holes have always been considered magical and sacred, with special healing properties, windows into the soul and doorways to to other dimensions.

One has to be lucky to find these stones. The trick is to look for the hole, not the rock. Apparently they are especially lucky when given to someone.

Look for my other necklaces in my Original Creations Section or return to my shop www.etsy.com/shop/wavesong to view other cool organic art and vintage stuff.

Thanks for looking.
