Outstandingly handsome little carrying case in tweed with curvy contrasting ends. Three early plastic drawers with eye shaped brass handles and frames for labels, bookcloth covered fronts. (Drawers are a dead ringer for marbled slag bakelite, but don't appear to be testing positive - this could mean they're not bakelite, and it could mean they're varnished bakelite). Made by Baja - Barnett & Jaffe Mfrs. Phila. Pa. U.S.A. Numbered and lined cardstock catalog to hand write the contents. Each drawer holds 100 slides, 300 total, and would be brilliant for all sorts of carded items, or divided at will into compartments for sorting small things. Would make an excellent trade case.

In good condition, with light scuffs and marks and a spot of discoloration at the top near handle. Drawers are in excellent condition.

Body of the case is about 8.5 inches tall, 5.25 inches wide, 10.5 inches deep. Handle adds another 3 inches.

Body of the case is about 21.5 tall, 13 cm wide, 26.5 cm deep. Handle adds another 7.5 cm.
