This is the one you remember sitting at the front of the classroom.

A classic blue scholastic globe with muted 40's colors and a metal arm and base.

It is my best guess that it was built in the late 1940's. It was Manufactured by the George F. Cram Company and is labeled as "12 Scholastic World Globe". The base is marked with a Duogyral trademark. It is made of cardboard and there are a few areas it has separated at the seams but is in very good condition for its age.

16" high, 12"diameter
