This black and white toile patterned cloth originated over a thousand years as a beautiful way to wrap items in a memorable fashion. Primarily used for wrapping gifts, clothing, and bento lunch boxes, they are used today for countless uses. Use it to play cops and robbers with your niece and nephews. Wrap up your lunch to take to work. Use it as a napkin for a romantic dinner party. Tie it on your head as a bandanna. Use it as a decoration for your dog. If you can dream it up, you can use it. Youtube has a number of wonderful websites on various folds and looks. You can see the most basic wrap here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRXPB83OSnw

Take it with you for a place to sit at a spring picnic or music festival.

Endorsed by the Japanese ministry as a way to reduce waste, they are very Eco-friendly. This is cut in the traditional bento box size (roughly 20"x 20" or 50cm by 50cm), but we also have larger and smaller sizes. You can see some of our other patterns pictured in the last photo.
