This is a beautiful Victorian print in superlative vintage condition of the camera lucida, an aid to early 19th century artists (and in limited use today). The camera lucida allowed the artist to see both the scene and drawing surface simultaneously, to keep it all in “perspective” and allowing the artist to trace objects. Quite handy.

The page measures 7 ½ x 10 ½ inches and is blank on the reverse side. The paper has a smooth satiny quality and is without rips, tears or markings. It is signed by the famous 19th century engraver, G Aikman of Edinburgh Scotland.

Mailed to you carefully housed in an archival sleeve in an unbendable mailer by first class mail.
