Beautiful 18"x36" hand glazed Arabesque Guatemalan inspired Quetzal mural! This mural is comprised of 18, 6"x6" Italian red quarry tile that have been glazed and fired at over 1,800 degrees to create a lasting piece of art for both indoor and outdoor use. This piece of art is weatherproof, fadeproof, waterproof and can be hung anywhere. The tiles have been inlayed and grouted into a hand welded, rusted and sealed metal frame and is ready to hang. The finished piece is roughly 35 lbs.

As an idea comes to fruition, it is sketched out by hand and rough colors are laid out using colored pencils. The design is then finalized, drawn onto the tile, glazed and fired. Variances in glazes and their reactions with firing temperatures create truly unique colors and ensure that no two designs are ever the same. The entire process from start to finish is done 100% by hand by me! Please feel free to ask me any questions!
