This image of a yucca plant is from a panel of petroglyphs on the San Juan River in southeastern Utah. The person who originally pecked the image into the sandstone wall lived over a thousand years ago. I handcut my interpretation of it into a sheet of recycled sterling silver measuring approximately 2.5cm x 1cm. It is suspended on a sterling silver chain and has a sterling silver lobster claw clasp. The whole necklace is about 18 inches long. This necklace is delicately durable and has a smooth satin finish. All of my work is done by hand by me. I use a jewelers saw, files and sandpaper to do my thing. Please note that each necklace is handmade and will be somewhat different from the one in the photo! Thanks!
