Reserved for PooknflipProductions- Arts & Crafts Lamp. This is a wonderful, warm, handmade lamp of wood and glass designed and constructed by artist Bill Heuglin. Influenced by the designs and aesthetics of Asian art and the Arts & Crafts movement of the late 19th/early 20th centuries, this lamp is made of oak using mortise & tenon construction and contains 4 glass panels, 3 of which are leaded. The glass work is also a Heuglin original design, incorporating the lead lines to form a design of leafless tree branches. Three of the panels work as a triptych with the branches continuing around those 3 sides. This lamp intentionally does not look like its factory-made. There is a warmth and aged look to the finish. The lamp stands approximately 14” high and is 5 3/8” square at the base and 8 1/2” square at the removable top. The top is easily removed for easy access for bulb changes. This is a newly constructed lamp. The UL approved candleabra socket takes a 40 watt bulb. An easy on/off switch is conveniently located on the wiring. This is a beautiful decorative item when lit or not and is not meant to be a reading lamp. This lamp would be a wonderful addition to a traditional Arts & Crafts style home or to anyone who loves the warmth and feel of handmade, functional art.
