I designed and created this original, hand painted art piece as a memorial for Susan B. Anthony, the unwavering warrior for women’s rights. Susan B. Anthony's leadership and life's work helped pave the way for American women to win the right to vote. "Failure is impossible" was her mantra.

The National Woman Suffrage Association was formed in 1869 by Susan B. Anthony and her colleague Elizabeth Cady Stanton. The 19th amendment was ultimately passed in 1919 and ratified by Congress in 1920, 14 years after Susan B. Anthony's death.

My Susan B. Anthony memorial portrait is meant to look like an old fashioned sign and is painted with a crackle finish. It is protected with a coat of polyurethane which gives it a slight sheen. It has brackets and picture wire on the back and is ready to hang on the wall.

For interior use only.
