Description

This sweater was designed for my
junior year in college. Our theme was
famous couples, so I decided to pick
William Wallace and Queen
Isabella. This sweater is off the
shoulder, close fitting, with puffed
sleeves.

Size: This sweater will fit a size 31”-34” chest. Larger sizes are in parenthesis for a (34-37”, 36-39”)
(It can be worn with 0-3” of negative ease at chest)

Yarn
(The original yarn used in the sweater have been discontinued. I do recommend using Madelinetosh Tosh Chunky, held only with one strand, instead of the multi strands in the original. You should still use elastic where indicated.)
Original Yarns Used:
- 6(7, 8) balls Dale Tiur (sport weight, 60% wool, 40% mohair, 126 yds/50G ball) in color 9852
- 7(9, 9) skeins Berroco Softwist (worsted weight, 59% rayon, 41% wool, 100yds/50G skein) color 9445
Recommended Substitute Yarns:
- 5(6, 6) yards Madelinetosh Tosh Chunky (100% superwash merino wool, 165 yds/125G skein)
Needles and Notions:
- 3 cards (150 yards total) of Rainbow elastic in a matching color
- 4 stitch holders
- US size 10 (6mm), 8 (5mm) and 3 (3.25mm) straight knitting needles
- circular needle US size 8 (5mm), 24” length

Gauge
13 sts, 22 rows = 4” in stockinet stitch (knit one row, purl one row) using one strand of Tiur and Softwist on size 10 needles after blocking.
15 sts= 4” in 2x2 rib on size 8 needles, slightly stretched.

This is just for sale of the pattern, not the actual sweater.
I am willing to custom make the sweater as well- any color and size you prefer. Send me a convo!

Bought a couple of skeins for my mom as a reminder of our wonderful memories of the shore. She loved them and mentioned particularly how beautifully they were packed and how wonderfully accurate the colors were in reference to the landmarks they represented. We’ll both be adding more to our collection in the future💕I recommend this seller 100%
