This image was taken pre-Katrina on Lake Pontchartrain in New Orleans. I was visiting my parents and a storm was in the making. The lake was full of boats, headed back to the marina. The camera I used was my father’s old vintage Polaroid 215 Land Camera. It brings back many fond memories.

Image transfer is such an unpredictable process, and it often tends to take on a life of its own. I’m never sure how the image or coloring will turn out until I develop the pack film. It’s usually a surprise. This is a hand-touched signed and matted (11x 14 overall size) print of an original negative image transfer. It is printed on 140 lb, acid free, cold press watercolor paper with HP Vivera archival inks. Because each is hand-touched with color highlighting, each is slightly different. This print is also available in a matted 16 x 20 format, ready for framing.

Please see “About Negative Image Transfer” in my “Profile.”
