My name is Josh Welton, and Brown Dog Welding is my company. Over the course of a year I am creating and selling one motorcycle sculpture each week(52 total) to raise money for two non-profits that I help support, Lifebuilders Detroit and Home Fur-Ever. I'm detailing the entire thing on my blog, Year of the Chopper . 100% of the proceeds will go to these two organizations. For more info on them, please follow the links in my blog.

This is a tig welded sculpture made from nuts, bolts, screws, nails, tubing and whatever other pieces of metal I have laying around. After being welded together, it was cleaned and clear coated. All of this is done at my shop in Mt. Clemens, Michigan....this is American made metalcraft!

This would be a great way to start or add to your BDW bike collection, or it would make a great gift for the motorcycles enthusiast in your life!

"Spinster" is the 127th bike sculpture overall that I've built, and it's the 27th Year of the Chopper sculpture. It's modeled after a Yamaha XS 650 Chopper.

Each and every piece I do is unique and comes with a signed and numbered certificate. This particular piece is 6 1\/4" long, 2 1\/2" tall, and 2 1\/2" wide at the handlebars.

I also do many custom pieces, and I donate a portion of everything I make to these same two causes. Feel free to email me questions at Josh [!at] browndogwelding.com and check out Brown Dog Welding for more on me and what I do!
