"Gloves and a hat on the hottest day of the yeah! I do declare, Mavis, you are such a lady!"

Pattern dated 1950, size bust 38, waist 32, hip 41.

Women's One-Piece Sun Dress and Bolero: The fitted bodice has a deep U-shaped neckline in front and back. Patch pockets with turn-down flaps and top-stitching trim the bolero and the skirt which is cut in four sections. A shawl collar and short sleeves are features of the bolero. In Style 1 the front-button closing continues to the hem. Top-stitching is used as trimming. In Style 2 dress, the front-button closing extends only to the hipline and a pleat continues from below the last buttonhole to the hemline.

Just ignore all the copy about the bolero, because all the pieces for it are missing except the pocket and flap! This is a really sweet sundress, though!

Pattern is used, missing pieces K, N, P, R, S, T (all from the bolero), and instructions, envelope in good vintage shape, missing flap, yellowing.

Thanks for looking!
