Red Wing USA "Festive" Divided Supper Plates
These are four Festive Supper Set trays, circa early 1950's. The supper tray has four sections, separated by molded ridges. A center molded section of the supper tray is perfect for a cup or a cupcake!
The tray is decorated with the "Quartette colors" Mulberry, Copper Glow, Chartreuse and Ming Green.
Produced in the early 1950's, the Informal Supper Service had a limited production run.
Underneath the plate is written "Red Wing USA".
Many Red Wing dinnerware pieces are dots left in the glaze by the little tripod that the Potters used to support the piece when fired in the kiln.
The three dots are not damage, but are a remnant of the manufacturing process and authenticate help the piece as being actual Red Wing.
