I've never offered anything like this before. I guess that's because I rarely ever get the opportunity to make these. I love making smaller things. Sadly, producing all the bigger things seems to occupy all my shop time. But this winter I got around to making a few odds and ends just because I wanted to.

These are "wanted to" bowls.

They measure just a little over 7 inches in diameter (they vary a tiny bit from just over 7 inches to nearly 7.25 inches).

And I put every bit of detail in these small bowls that I put in my larger bowls -- the ones that look so much like these sunburst glazed bowls. The edge of each is a hand-carved version of an "egg and dart" pattern. It makes a subtle round milligrain frame around a sunburst of gold flowing into a sea of red.

In them you can serve desserts, ice cream, small salads, whatever fits. The cats, Moose and Crush, would like to point out that a saucer of milk might not be a bad idea -- microwaved to perfection!

I like these as a set of four so I'm offering them up that way. As with all my pottery, the shipping is included in the price.

Thanks for looking at my pottery!
