"We're fools whether we dance or not, so we might as well dance."

That Japanese proverb speaks volumes and was the inspiration for these whimsical wedding invitations that feature a vintage image of a wild-looking 1920s celebration (the watermark on the image will, of course, not be on your finished product).

The invitations are letterpress printed in a single color, measure 4" x 9", and come with matching, top-opening envelopes. Reply cards (4-bar size) and reply envelopes are also included. Addresses are also letterpress printed on the envelopes.

Here's how it works: You choose the typeface (see photos for options), ink and envelope colors, include the text you want in the "comments to seller" or a convo, and I'll hand print your invitations. That's all. Easy!

If you're looking for something more customized, convo me to discuss the particulars. Need to see it in person first? Convo me about samples.

To sum up:
* Pick a typeface/font. (You may chose multiple typefaces! Use a different typeface for your names or emphasize something else. Get creative!)
* Pick the ink and envelope colors (they don't have to be the same).
* Place your order and tell me all of the above in the "notes to seller".
* Wait for your letterpress printed invitations to arrive and start sending them out!

Paper: All cards are printed on 110-pound Crane's Lettra paper, a thick, 100% cotton paper designed specifically for letterpress printing.
Please note: that the envelopes in this listing are not Lettra and so will have a slightly different weight and texture than the card stock.

Type/font choices are (see photos): Eighteenth Century Script, French Script, 1930s Script, 1940s Script, Caslon, Caslon Open Face, Centaur, Aldus, British, 20th Century (shown in the samples pictured), Copperplate Gothic, Nouveau, Parisian Brushstroke.
Please note: These invitations are printed from custom plates so the available typefaces are different from most of my other listings.

Ink colors are: black, chocolate brown, sky blue, teal blue, forest green, lime green, orange, brick red, scarlet red, pink, and dark purple.

Envelope colors are: Off-white, tan, natural (kraft), orange, red, bright green, olive, light blue, aqua, gray. Please keep in mind that not all ink colors will be visible on all envelope colors. If you have any questions about this, send me a convo and we can figure something out together.

Shipping: Priority Mail shipping is free for these invitations in the US.

Important policies:
Payment in full is required before I start printing.
