This grey wolf and cub figurine is so cute. Did you know that in the upper Great Lakes region and in the Yellowstone area, the entire wolf population was killed, but recovery is underway. As of July 2009, great lakes wolves are back on the federal list of threatened and endangered species.

This figure was issued by the National Wildlife Federation in 1985, and was designed by Nicholas Wilson. It is called "Woodland Repose".

This figurine is in perfect condition. There are no chips, cracks or marks on the animals. It has some slight wear on the bottom due to being set down. The statue is about 8.5 inches long and 4 inches wide. It is fairly heavy. It would be perfect for a fireplace mantle or log cabin.
