⫸DESCRIPTION & CONDITION⫷

This is a gorgeous antique Victorian era fob I have clipped onto a sterling silver chain to make a lovely necklace. The fob is made up of panels of iridescent, shimmering abalone and mother-of-pearl, set into sterling silver and connected together with sterling silver links. On the backside, it's been beautifully engraved with a pine tree branch and "Southern Pines, N.C.". It's also stamped with "sterling", as is the dog clip. The chain doesn't have any hallmarks, but does acid test as sterling. A gorgeous mermaid necklace!

The fob is in very good ANTIQUE condition with normal but minor wear.

⫸MEASUREMENTS⫷

The fob is 4.5 inches long (measured from the top of the dog clip).
The bottom abalone segment is 1 inch in diameter.
The chain is approximately 20 inches long
The combined total weight is 19.9 grams
