GENERAL MINERAL INFO: Muscovite is the most common mineral in the mica group, which is a large group of silicate minerals that easily cleave into thin sheets. In 1700s Moscow, Russia, this ability made it a popular material for window panes, earning it the name “Muscovy Glass”, which inspired the name “muscovite” in 1794. It has many industrial uses today, from adding glitter to cosmetics and paint to making plastic and rubber more durable.

METAPHYSICAL PROPERTIES: Muscovite is good for the third eye and crown chakras. It can help you connect with the universe and align with your higher self. Its reflectivity makes it a good tool for scrying and introspection.
