Highlights

This marvelous dress copies the wiggle dress shape, stand-up collar, and asymmetrical bodice closure (decorative here, with burnished gold buttons) of a traditional qipao in a lightweight peacock print fabric in brilliant purple, pink, and metallic gold. The shoulder pads are sewn in along the seam but should still be possible to remove with some effort if you prefer.
