I love all these geometric, abstract prints from the 1950s. Optimistic, bright, playful. Absolutely a reflection of their era.

This is handcrafted from a piece of 1950s drapery panel. It is a wonderful barkcloth, with a gray and white background, crossed with Chartreuse woven stripes, interrupted with green abstract geometric shapes. The pillow is trimmed in a cotton gray fringe, and has a backside of vintage green dimensional barkcloth.

It measures 16" square, and has a down-like pillow insert hand-stitched inside, so that the edges are clean and crisp, and either side can be used in your decor.

I have made each pillow myself, on my Gram's featherweight Singer, that is older than I am! All my fabrics are vintage-early to mid 20th century, unless otherwise specified. I love conserving these textiles, and finding ways to re-invent them. They are precious little pieces of the past, and now can be part of your present!
