Here’s a stool with a genuine leather seat made in solid wood and steel at the perfect seat height for your bar or counter. My finish is a hand rubbed penetrating oil that’s silky and beautiful, as well as hard wearing and easy to clean.
There’s a touch of midcentury modernism to this design which works with a variety of styles. The curves and circles in the swivel stool lend an organic feel to the piece. I use only absolutely top notch materials and the hand cut the joinery makes for a solid piece that will last many many years.
I’d be happy to stain the wood or use a lighter wood to match your space, message me for photos. These stools are flat packed, crated, and delivered to you door via UPS or DHL. In the unlikely event that something is damaged in shipping, I'll replace it right away. There’s an assembly video on YouTube - they’re easy and fun to put together.
I especially love the way the leather wraps the high density foam and tucks into the wood seat in such a way that you can still see the eased edge all around. The swivel feature makes it easy to hop on and off without repositioning the stool under the bar. (BTW, that’s a Hafele (Austrian) heavy duty ball bearing plate responsible for the swiveling). Its a great looking piece and a pleasure to sit in.
