This was a huge hit - now my whole family has requested matching ones! I am basically a complete beginner, and this was my second ever project. I would call this pattern beginner friendly (very clear instructions and diagrams + seller very responsive), but not sure if I would recommend it for complete beginners because of the lack of a video tutorial. I messed up/had trouble a couple of times and had to redo the stitch in the ditch part three times lol, but eventually got it. It's SUPER cute and comfy but pay attention to sizing and maybe size down. My measurements put me between an S and M, and I made S, which turned out too big for me. Also I had to bring in the straps a lot so they wouldn't slip down and shorten the hem a lot to be above knee (I'm 5' 3"). So just try it on as you go so you can adust!

I am obsessed with this pattern set! I made the shorts and they turned out SUPER cute. based on my measurements I made the shorts in size L and they fit great, but if you're making this just make sure to measure again for your top because I didnt and I just went ahead and made the large and it was definitely way too big for me. I pattern hacked the heck out of the top so that it actually fit me though so im not upset at all. The pattern is so customizable it came out literally so cute I am so obsessed. 10/10 will definitely be remaking more sets :3
