🪴 Simple 3-Step Setup
Prep: Poke 2 small air holes in the bottom of a plastic bottle. Push pins work well.
Attach: Fill with water and screw securely into the wide-mouth spike.
Planting: Clear space in the soil to insert the device into the soil. Adjust the cap for your desired flow rate.
Note: You can get away with inserting it into the soil sometimes but clearing the soil for the legs is optimal for V1's. If you want better results directly inserting try our V2 in the link above!

The items were well made.
I'm taking one star off because this does not come with a bottle (water reservoir). I found a fairly large bottle that fit in it, but I still have to replace it often. The concept is good, but not practical.
Perfect - just what I was looking for! It doesn't clog with dirt, and I can control the water flow. I've found that using a pushpin is the easiest method to create the holes on the bottom of the seltzer bottle. It easily pierces the plastic with little force, and the water flow is slow enough that I don't feel the need to add cotton balls to the system (although in my initial setup, I used a cotton round at the bottom of the basin, and it worked rather well). The best part of this setup is that you can continually adjust it to fit your plants' current situation (indoor, outdoor, cold temps, hot temps ...).
