The Modular Exhaust System components can be combined in various configurations to create a multiple machine to single exhaust output (splitter), hose adapters (from one size to another), and/or to add a blast gate (shut off valve) to a hose system.

The components feature inlet and/or outlet flanges that mate together with an included clamp. These allow components to be combined to create an unlimited number of different configurations. Components can be rotated at any angle at the clamped locations.

The y-splitter, tri-splitter, wall outlet, and blast gate are based on a 4" opening, with a 94mm (3.7") internal diameter.

COMPONENTS

Hose ends
Inlet and outlets connect to each side of each other or to the splitter, blast gate, extension couplers, or wall output port. A plug is available if you wish to use the y-splitter or tri-splitter without an additional laser connected (expand in the future). An inlet hose end attaches to an outlet flange, and an outlet hose end attaches to an outlet flange.

Inlet Hose Ends: M1U/F1 (xTool 63mm/2.5" hose), 3-inch, 4-inch, F1U/AP2/IF2 xTool hoses, 4" Scd40 PVC (4.5" ID)

Outlet Hose Ends: 3-inch, 4-inch, F1U/AP2/IF2 xTool hoses, 6-inch

Y-Splitter
2 inlet flange and 1 outlet flange. Hose ends and blast gates connect to the inlets and outlets. Includes a surface mounting bracket (Wall, ceiling, etc.). The mounting bracket is reversible so that the Y portion can point in either direction.

Tri-Splitter
3 inlet flanges and 1 outlet flange. Hose ends and blast gates connect to the inlets and outlets. Includes a surface mounting bracket (Wall, ceiling, etc.).

Blast Gate
1 inlet flange and 1 outlet flange. Can be used standalone or connected to a splitter, wall outlet, and/or hose ends.

Extension Couplers
Extension Couplers have 1 inlet and 1 outlet flange. Straight, 45-degree, and 90-degree extensions for changing directions or extending lengths between components. 50mm (2"), 100mm (4"), and 200mm (6") length straight extensions

Wall Outlet
1 inlet flange. Used for passing through a wood panel for venting to the outside. Includes an anti-critter screen (installation optional) and a down-facing rain guard outlet. Included M4 screws are long enough to go through 10mm (3/8") wood. All items except outlet hose ends can connect to the Wall outlet.

EXAMPLE USE CASES

Hose size adapters - The hose ends come in various sizes for inlet and outlet. Example: Connect a 3-inch inlet hose end with a 4-inch outlet hose end to create a 3 to 4-inch hose adapter.

Y-Splitter/Tri-Splitter - Connect any size inlet hose ends to the splitter inlets to connect multiple machines to one output (inline fan, window vent, etc.). Splitters can be connected together to create additional inputs (other machines). Example: Connect a 3-inch hose end inlet and a 4-inch hose end inlet to the y-splitter and a 4-inch hose end outlet. Optionally add blast gates to each spitter inlet.

Blast gates - Blast gates shut off the airflow to prevent unwanted airflow or backflow to machines not currently being used. Warm or cool air backflow from outside can create condensation in the laser. The blast gate can be used standalone (with hose ends), or connected directly to the Splitter or wall outlet. A wall mount bracket is available for hard mounting to a surface.

Wall Outlet - Connect a hose end or blast gate to the wall outlet port and mount it to a piece of wood or whatever you use to vent to the outside.

WALL/SURFACE MOUNTABLE

The y-splitter, tri-splitter, and blast gate are wall/surface mountable. The blast gate (when purchased separately) has a mounting bracket that enables easy slide-on/off mounting.

FUTURE PROOF AND UPGRADEABLE
If you need to convert to a different hose size in the future, just purchase a new hose end. There's no need to buy a new splitter or blast gate for the new size. Because of the modular nature, you can add y-spitters or blast gates later.

Adding a new machine? Just purchase a hose end and y-splitter and connect it to your existing y-splitter or blast gate and you're back in business.

NOTES
This exhaust system is designed for laser exhaust. The blast gates have not been tested for use with woodworking sawdust extraction.

An external inline fan (or air purifier) is suggested for negative air pressure, especially when using blast gates as with all blast gates, they have micro gaps between moving parts. Tape (not provided) can also be added to the joints before clamping to help seal the joints.

Splitter and blast gate internal diameter: ~94mm (3.7") (for 4-inch hose compatibility.

Multiple Y-Fittings can be connected to each other if you wish to have more inlet ports. (The y-fitting has two inlet flanges and 1 outlet flange)

The Blast Gate and Hose Ends (inlet/outlet) come with a clamp to connect them to another item.

The Blast Gate has an inlet flange on one side and an outlet flange on the other. Hose ends can be connected on each side if you wish to create a stand-alone blast gate.

The 200mm extension should be supported if used horizontally (avoid weight bearing) such as placing it between y-fittings or a wall-mounted blast gate.

Each item connection can be rotated/swiveled as desired.

Hoses and Hose Clamps are NOT included. I recommend AC Infinity hoses.
