TL;DR: These are a set of mickey ears shaped like two pineapple slices, and they attach magnetically to most hats. Hat not included.

We took our original Pineapple Slice Mickey Ears, optimized the weight and flexibility, and switched the material to one that fluoresces under black lights and glows in the dark. Imagine stepping out of the sun and onto a dark ride with glowing Mickey Ears! Note that the light-reactive properties are most noticeable in darker environments; they will fluoresce indefinitely while under black / ultraviolet lighting, and they will glow in the dark noticeably on the order of 5-15 minutes depending on how dark the environment and how strongly they were charged in sunlight / blacklight beforehand. Dimensions and Weight:
The thickness of each ear is 0.55in (14.1mm). The outer diameter is 3.76in (95.5mm). The inner diameter of the pineapple slice is 1.46in (37.2mm). The circular cutout in the edge of the pineapple slice (where the ear interfaces with the hat) has a radius of 4.04in (102.5mm). Each ear with its magnetic backing weighs 1.73oz (49g); i.e. they will add a total of 3.46oz (98g) to your hat.

Hat Compatibility:
These ears are compatible with a wide range of hats. They work best with hats that are thin, flexible and can easily conform to the 4in radius of the cutout in the ear, e.g. ball caps. They will also work with some stiff, thicker hat materials, providing they approximately match the ear cutout, e.g. pith helmets. They do not work well with hat materials that are especially flat, thick, and/or stiff.

Materials:
The ears and backing are made from TPU, which is flexible and extremely durable. The TPU is 3D-printed on a top-of-the-line FDM printer. The final product may have some minor artifacts from the printing process, e.g. small seams and layer lines; we use special design, printing, and post-processing techniques to minimize these artifacts as much as possible so that they are not noticeable from typical viewing distances. These ears use rare-earth magnets; 6x magnets per ear, and 3x magnets per backing. The package also includes 4x stainless steel pins and clutches; these are optionally worn, for holding the interior magnetic backing plate in place when the ears are removed from the hat. We’ve included an additional 6x magnets, which are optionally worn for additional magnetic strength when needed, and where space permits inside the hat. While these magnets may look similar to cheaper, weaker ferrite magnets due to their black epoxy coatings, they are super strong neodymium magnets; the epoxy coating allows a much stronger adhesive bond to the TPU material of the ears when compared to typical nickel-coated neodymium magnets.
