The Babyface Southdown is one of the cutest breeds of sheep, thus the name. Personally I think it is the teddy bear of sheep. It is a small english breed first introduced to the US in 1824. It is generally kept in small flocks with little jobs, like keeping down the vegitation around the vineyards in California.

The ewe is 5" tall, her head and legs are porcelain and her body a cast stone (1 lb). The fur is a woven wool from the same source that supplies Steiff teddy bears. All porcelain is white.
