Rim lock mechanism, where the locking components are enclosed in a rectangular box mounted on the interior surface

Skeleton key operation — NO KEY PRESENT

Matching keeper/strike plate mounted on the door frame, present but not pictured.

Manual thumb lock lever for the latch, thumb lever mechanism on the interior to keep the door knob and latch from turning.
