Magnificent handcrafted brooch hand-painted in Russia by the talented artist Smirnova, depicting an elegant woman in a traditional kokoshnik and sarafan, sitting near a fireplace.
This exquisite work depicts one of the most iconic scenes from the world-renowned Fedoskino school of lacquer miniature painting. The painting is executed on mother-of-pearl with an ultra-fine brush and then protected by several layers of glossy varnish.
Set in an elegant openwork metal frame, this brooch combines refinement, craftsmanship and Russian artistic heritage.
