How does a spreadsheet template work?

A spreadsheet template is a pre-designed file that helps you quickly start budgeting or planning. Simply download the template and start using it right away with a free Google account! > Our templates are only compatible with Google Sheets and will NOT work with Microsoft Excel or any other software. > Note that we’ve added warnings to the spreadsheets to prevent accidental changes to any formulas that could affect the sheet’s functionality. However, the spreadsheet is not locked, so you can still make any adjustments by simply ignoring the “Heads up!” warning.

Why am I getting a “Heads up!” warning when I try to edit certain cells?

The “Heads up!” warning appears when you try to edit a cell that has a fixed title/calculated value in our Google Sheets templates. This is designed to prevent accidental changes that could affect the functionality of the spreadsheet. If you're sure you want to make changes, simply click “OK” to confirm your edit. If not, click “Cancel”. | But… Don't worry too much! If you accidentally break something, you can always use the “Undo” button (at the top left of the Google Sheets editing bar, right below “File”) to reverse your last action. If you need to start fresh, you can create a new copy of the spreadsheet by clicking the link in the PDF file you originally downloaded from Etsy. Can't find your PDF? Re-download it from Etsy anytime.

Why can't I access my spreadsheet, or why is it opening in “View only” mode?

Sometimes, Google Sheets can have minor glitches. If your spreadsheet isn’t opening or is opening in “View only” mode, here are a few steps to try: > In the top toolbar, click on “File” > “Make a copy.” This will create a copy of the spreadsheet that you can fully access. If that doesn't work, try these troubleshooting steps: - Open the spreadsheet from a computer or laptop. - Ensure there’s enough space in your Google Drive. - Try using a different browser. - Make sure you're logged into your Google account. > If you’ve tried all of these steps and are still having trouble, please contact us, and we’ll be happy to help!

Can I use the spreadsheets with Excel instead of Google Sheets?

Our spreadsheets are specifically designed for Google Sheets and aren’t compatible with Excel. Although Google Sheets and Excel are similar, they have significant differences in how formulas work. When you export a spreadsheet to Excel, the formulas won’t transfer correctly, and the spreadsheet won’t function as intended. Therefore, we strongly recommend using the spreadsheet in Google Sheets to ensure it works properly.

Can I cancel my order? Can I return or exchange my template?

I absolutely LOVE this calendar to keep my friends and I updated on all of our activities, so it's easier to schedule playdates and mom dates! Not to mention the amazing customer service when I needed something extra added. Valeria went out of her way to add a time column for us and noticed there were a few cells that had been corrupted due to copy and pasting, which she offered to fix. I said, "Eh, that was an 'us' issue, so we learned," and everything but those areas work, lol. Thank you so much for this amazing resource!
