The story of the design of this teapot is very funny; My two little sons like to drink tea when they come home after school. I usually make 'gnome-tea', a sweet herbal tea.
So they decided: we had to drink it out of a gnome-teapot. And of course I've made one for them :) also with a red hat. It's so cute and I even made a miniature of it, for my youngest son who likes to play with his bears 'drinking tea'.

This teapot doesn't have a red hat, but still has a gnome-hat shape. The handle is curly and follows a organic line. The spout is also organic but pours fine.

All my teapots are a bit different and therefore unique. If you like to see more pictures to chose, please feel free to convo me.

The outside of the pot feels very soft by the use of "Terra Sigillata" and attracts you to touch it! The inside is glazed with a "homemade" glossy white glaze and is a perfect contrast with the satin outside.
Of coarse the glaze is foodsafe. You can use this teapot everyday: microwave -and dishwasher proof.

Every piece is signed with a little O.
The O of Oker which is the color ochre in dutch/flemmish... also the O of wOndering and perfectly rOund :)
