Here is a light, sturdy rear wood fender handcrafted and steam bent from a solid piece of quarter inch poplar. Included is sturdy steel hardware and instructions for easy installation. Fenders are intended for installation through those unused rear brake holes, perfect for fixed gear or coaster brake conversions. These are the ideal finishing touch for vintage builds, with sturdiness to rival heavier metal fenders and lightness to rival garish plastic ones. Prevents erosion on expensive leather saddles, all the while keeping your bum dry.

This fender has a blonde / red/ blonde striped stain on top, and a red finish on the underside. The wood is waterproofed with natural honey and clear shellac. This fender measures 14.75" long and 1.4" wide.

If your bicycle has rear brakes, see here to determine whether or not a fender can be adapted for you:

***If you are planning on using this fender on a bicycle with back brakes, please let me know in your message to seller so that I can adjust the hardware.***
