I've had a difficult time with this pattern. Some of the language used isn't what I'm used to seeing for sewing. For example, inside/outside of fabric was used instead of right side/wrong side. There were pictures for every step which were helpful some of the time. But the description with the picture was short and sometimes difficult for me to understand. I ended up using the inside pockets part of the pattern but I'm not going to follow the outside construction given. I'm using patterned fabric and the way the bag is made well really break the pattern into sections on the outside. The outside panels are not a single piece. I wish I had known that before purchasing. I thought the red in the picture was the outside pocket but it's from the way the pattern is put together.

Thank you for your comment. The red part is the pocket piece. It is recommended that you follow the instructions in the instruction booklet and the pattern. This way you can see that the red part is the pocket. The pocket piece is made as a separate piece; it is not an assembly. I don't want my customers to misunderstand this part. You could have messaged me if you didn't understand anything. My explanations include every detail seen in the picture. If the picture contains many details, all of those details will be explained. If it's a simple step, it will be explained accordingly.

The bag turned out beautifully and I love it, but at one point the instructions were a little vague about how to turn it right-side out, but eventually got it figured out.
