d e t a i l s : Lovely vintage 1980s era black lace party dress by Oscar de la Renta. This has a lace floral sheer overlay with raised floral pattern stitched with silver metallic thread. The lace leaves also have a shimmery silver hue. Tan opaque underdress. This is meant to be worn as a shift style so it's slightly lose through the body. Long tapered sleeves and back button closure. Scalloped floral neckline. Ruffled tulle hem dotted with rhinestones for a little extra shimmer.

✦ SIZING - Vintage clothing sizing does not reflect modern standards. When determining size, make sure you account for enough room to move comfortably. Additionally, vintage clothing is more fragile and should be worn with this in mind. Occasionally there are seam allowances or darts that can be removed, as well as tailors that can alter a vintage item to fit your particular shape.

When determining size I recommend measuring the following:

HIPS: measure around the fullest part of your hips.

BUST: measure over the fullest part of your bust while wearing a bra.

WAIST: measure around the smallest point of your natural waistline.

SHOULDER TO WAIST: measure from the very top of your shoulder - where the seam would lie, down the front, over the bust, to your waistline.

LENGTH: measure from the top of your shoulder, down the front, and to the point where the hem would be. Inseam measurements for pants would be measured from the inside of the leg at the very top of the groin, down to the hem.
