As with most 140 lb papers, this will curl a bit if really soaked with water, but will flatten on its own if the water saturation isn't really heavy. Avoid the very edge and this self-straightening tendency will shine even more. You can always flatten 140 lb high quality cotton paper like this under a bit of weight after drying. Overall I think this paper behaves very well for a 140 pound with regard to not warping.

- Is is Arches?
Nope. As for why? This paper has a sided-ness to it - an obvious textured painting side and a smoother not-as-fun-to paint side. This trait isn't so great for sketching and art, where we often like to flip over work and use both sides, but it's IDEAL for greeting cards. Your brush will love the outside, your pen will vibe with the inside - at least pretty well for a cotton paper!

- How many to a pack?
