Custom and personalized orders

I do accept custom orders and there are varying degrees of customization available. Want a different ribbon color than what is advertised on a particular hat? Just message me before checking out. If a customer is requesting a specific fabric the price of the final item will be dependent on the cost of the fabric per yard. For 2026 all custom orders requiring a special order of fabric, I will not accept returns or cancellations after the fabric has been ordered. No coupons will be accepted on custom orders unless agreed upon in advance.

All of my fabric is 100% cotton and is pre-washed before sewing. I highly recommend washing on cold and either hanging to dry or tumble dry on low. Repeated washing of cotton fabrics in hot water with drying on high heat has the potential to shrink and fade your fabric overtime. For ponytail caps I recommend either lightly tying your ribbon to keep them from coming out of the casing in the wash or washing in a garment bag. If a ribbon were to escape you can attach a safety pin to the ribbon end and gently pull it through the casing.

All of my hats are one size fits most. The average head size that fits my caps best is approximately 22.5 inches to 24.5 inches. If you think you might require a much smaller or larger fit, please reach out to me before purchase to discuss details.

Gift wrapping and packaging

I have some Rifle Paper Co wrapping paper available at check out under the gift wrapping option. I ship using tissue paper and poly mailers.

My package says “delivered,” but I didn’t receive it. What happens now?

Packages are scanned and marked delivered by USPS/fedex/UPS as proof and assurance that they delivered the item as requested. Regrettably, refunds will not be given if a package has shipped and is marked as delivered. USPS does not allow for claims on a package marked as delivered.

Oops.. I put in the wrong mailing address.

Please double check your mailing address at check-out. If you notice an error in your address please message me within 24 hours with the correct address. Packages that have been shipped to the incorrect address as inputted by the buyer will only be reshipped after they have been sent back return to sender and a new shipping charge has been paid by the buyer. BHD will not be held responsible for incorrect shipping addresses provided by buyers.

Will it fit long hair? Yes! The ponytail design is specifically tailored with an adjustable pocket at the back to accommodate long hair. The ribbons come from either side of the cap-- by pulling them tight they will tighten the cap around your head and hair.

Is it easy to clean? Absolutely. We know your job can be messy. I recommend washing cold and tumble dry low or hang to dry. 100% cotton will shrink over time with repeated washings and drying on high heat. All of my fabrics are pre-washed prior to sewing.

Can I add buttons? Yes! We offer a "with buttons" version to save your ears from mask-elastic fatigue.

These are my favorite scrub caps. They’re so cute and they fit really well- not too small, adjustable, and even when cinched they don’t look too poofy or baggy. I have medium-long hair but I imagine they’d work great for most all lengths/types of hair!
